Goodbye, We're Falling Fast

The reflection of the building creates the illusion that you're high up, when really you are at ground level. xD It was a fun photo.

Summer, a Time for Love and Fireworks. . .

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 3, 2009, 6:10 PM

Ever questioned a relationship?
Ever wondered if it'd get better or if it'd plateau?
And whether talking could hurt the chances?

You'll recieve assurance in due time; never give up.

Hello again!

Still loving my Cort, of course. :] He makes me the happiest girl...

It's the day before Independence Day! The weather is crazy here, as always, and we can only hope it won't rain when we're lighting fireworks! The firework show here at my house should be amazing. . . I expect my neighbors will be jealous! Trust me-- The burns are worth it.
There was one year when my neighbor, let's call him Rich, came over to talk to Rob and was swaggering from the amount of drinking he'd been doing across the street with his brothers and friends. He stayed for a bit. Then, oh his way back over, leapt over the largest fountain we'd lit while tucking his knees in and lingering for a moment before landing on his feet. How he did it without falling, I'm not sure. . . I expected him to fall. :P Bummer.
I've become addicted to SYTYCD. AGAIN. It's terrible how addicting dance can be!
My favorites so far are to the songs "Falling Slowly" and "Eyes on Fire". Both are brilliant pieces. . . Falling Slowly reminds me of last season's (?) Bleeding Love in the way that the dancers move in sync with each other and hold each other, both dancers appearing to suffer at one time or another. They are so very emotional and create the story provided perfectly.
Eyes on Fire was interesting. I watched it on television first before resorting to Choli and inferred that the woman was trying to avoid something, while the man kept trying to tell her something. It turns out that the story behind the dance was that both of the performers were dead and that the woman didn't want to accept it, so the man keeps dragging and pulling her toward the truth. I love it. Beautiful that.
Oh! One more comment. Kayla looks a lot like the musician Kerli in that dance.

I hope you all have an amazing 4th!

Love all!

~ Ica

Definitely merging into the summer atmosphere as spring and winter come to a close. I'll be swimming, hiking, camping, backpacking, walking, trekking, and photographing as I go along. Enjoy!
